Gut Liver Organoid Applied Sciences (GLOAS) Limited is co-founded in 2019 by clinicians and scientists stationed in the University of Hong Kong (HKU) and is a stem cell and organoid biotechnology startup company headquartered in Hong Kong. Our incredible team has worked tirelessly to bring GLOAS Limited to the forefront of the industry. We have constructed the world’s first human Biliary Atresia-derived liver organoid model from patient and we will continue our excellent works and anticipate our products / services to become the technological standard in the field, providing big picture insights and solutions for companies of all sizes. Join Us

Research Assistant

Research Assistant in GLOAS Limited, to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

Applicants should possess a B.Sc. degree or an M.Phil. degree in Biological/Medical Sciences or a related discipline.  Those with experience in mammalian cell culture, immunohistochemistry and confocal imaging, and molecular techniques such as qRT-PCR are preferred.  Applicants should be highly motivated, and able to work independently as well as in a team.  The appointee will participate in human embryonic stem cell (hESC) and/or induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSC) projects and laboratory maintenance.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
